Questo breve comunicato è stato scritto dai Caged (band metal-hardcore/straight edge bolognese) in merito alle condizioni del compagno anarchico Alfredo Cospito che si trova in regime di 41 bis e che ha iniziato qualche settimana fa lo sciopero della fame, seguito da altrx compagnx detenuti in carcere dall’infame giustizia borghese. Ho deciso di riprenderlo e pubblicarlo su queste pagine perchè esprime totalmente la mia idea di hardcore e di punk e per sottolineare la completa solidarietà e complicità con chi sta lottando, dentro e fuori, contro le galere, la repressione e la tortura di Stato. Affinchè “fuoco alle galere” non rimanga più un semplice slogan, torniamo a rendere la solidarietà un’arma e l’hardcore una minaccia! FUORI TUTTX DALLE GALERE, DENTRO NESSUNO SOLO MACERIE!
L’HARDCORE É PIÙ CHE SEMPLICE MUSICA.
Per noi, questo slogan prende senso nel momento in cui riusciamo a stringere nuovi legami, sviluppare delle affinità e creare reti di solidarietà. È a quest’ultima, la solidarietà, che ci appelliamo per un compagno che sta vivendo sulla propria pelle l’oppressione del tallone di ferro dello Stato borghese.
Alfredo Cospito è un anarchico. Oggi in carcere perché accusato di aver posto due ordigni a basso potenziale presso una scuola allievi dei Carabinieri, sedici anni fa, in cui non ci sono stati né feriti, né morti. I giudici italiani hanno definito tale gesto una “strage contro la sicurezza dello Stato”, un reato creato dal regime fascista, per cui la pena minima prevista è l’ergastolo: capo d’imputazione mai usato, neanche per le stragi di Stato di Piazza Fontana e la stazione ferroviaria di Bologna. Una pena che rischia di scontare col regime carcerario chiamato 41bis. Un’ora di colloquio al mese con il vetro. Zero socialità, zero attività. Un’ora d’aria tra quattro mura di cemento. Zero libri, giornali, riviste dall’esterno. Posta censurata o bloccata. Solo annientamento e privazione sensoriale. Tortura bianca. Vendetta di Stato.
Piuttosto che vivere così per più di vent’anni di carcere, Alfredo ha dichiarato che preferisce lasciarsi morire. Dal 22 ottobre, il compagno è in sciopero della fame e con lui altrə compagnə prigionieri hanno aderito a questa forma di lotta: Juan Antonio Sorroche Fernandez, Anna Beniamino e Ivan Alocco.
Siamo stufi di bere le bugie democratiche che descrivono il carcere come strutture di rieducazione e reinserimento. Il carcere è una discarica sociale, dove buttare a marcire i poveri, gli esclusi e i dissidenti che vengono classificati come non integrabili con il nostro sistema economico capitalista. Visto che i poveri aumentano ogni giorno, ogni giorno aumentano gli strumenti per distruggerli e annichilirli, soprattutto per quelli considerati “ribelli”. Per questo si accaniscono contro Alfredo e gli/le altrə compagnə, che, dentro e fuori il carcere, non rinunciano a lottare.
Per questo non possiamo lasciarli soli.
Per questo la loro lotta deve essere la lotta di tuttə noi.
La solidarietà è un’arma!

HARDCORE IS MORE THAN MUSIC!
To us, this slogan makes sense when we are able to forge new bonds, develop affinities and create networks of solidarity. It is to the latter, solidarity, that we appeal for a comrade who is experiencing the oppression of the iron heel of the bourgeois state in his own skin.
Alfredo Cospito is an anarchist. He is in prison today because he is accused of placing two low explosive devices at a Carabinieri cadet school, sixteen years ago, in which no one was injured or killed. The Italian judges defined this act as a ‘massacre against the security of the State’, a crime created by the fascist regime, for which the minimum sentence is life imprisonment: a charge never used, not even for the state massacres of Piazza Fontana and the Bologna railway station. A sentence he risks serving under the prison regime called 41bis. One hour of interview per month behind the glass. Zero sociality, zero activity. One hour of air between four concrete walls. Zero books, newspapers, magazines from the outside. Censored or blocked mail. Only annihilation and sensory deprivation. White torture. State revenge.
Rather than living like this for more than twenty years in prison, Alfredo has declared that he would rather let himself die. Since October 22nd, the comrade has been on hunger strike and with him other prisoners have joined this form of struggle: Juan Antonio Sorroche Fernandez, Anna Beniamino and Ivan Alocco.
We are fed up with the democratic lies that describe prisons as a re-education and reintegration facility. Prisons are a social dumping ground, where we throw to rot: the poor, the excluded and dissidents who are classified as non-integratable with our capitalist economic system. As the poor increase every day, so do the tools to destroy and to annihilate them, especially those considered ‘rebels’. That is why they turn on Alfredo and the other comrades, who, in and out of prison, do not give up the fight.
This is why we cannot leave them alone.
This is why their fight must be the fight of us all.
Solidarity is a weapon!
